Job Description

Veolia Water North America, the worldwide leader in water/wastewater treatment services, is looking for an Area Manager for our Northeast projects.

 

This position manages the business and technical activities of assigned area.  Responsibilities may include several of the following: accounting, budgeting, installing financial controls, assisting in the assessment of technology and training needs, preparing technical reports and proposal documents, providing technical sales support, ensuring customer and regulatory satisfaction, and evaluating and establishing efficient and effective work processes for location(s) within the assigned area.

Education and Experience

Candidates must possess the following:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.

  • Five to seven years of progressive supervisory and management experience in a related business or technical field.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with an understanding of Human Resources / Relations principals.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Environmental and Facilities/ Capital Equipment Management.
  • Developed strategic and business planning and financial management skills including budget and cost control.
  • Successful record with regional contract negotiations, multi-site interfaces, commercial management of contracts and sustained customer and regulatory satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates Effective Sales Skills
  • Follows CSP Model
  • Presents Effectively
  • Closes Attainable Sales Opportunities
  • Demonstrates effective organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures.
  •  Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record.
