Job Description

The Customer Service Internal Control Manager will be in charge of:

Sales and Collection Monitoring

  • Supervise the cash inflow activity
  • Carry out cashiers closings
  • Analyze the customers' accounts and justify the accounting entries
  • Propose and/or implement secure means of payment
  • Manage the follow up of outstanding debt
  • Manage the allocated budgets
  • Analyze and optimize operating costs
  • Develop and implement financial and/or accounting procedures and circuits in liaison with Finance Department
  • Assure the financial monitoring of the implementation of corrective actions
  • Carry out bank reconciliations with Finance Department
  • Analyze and justify the consolidated accounts of Customer Service
  • Define and put in place financial performance indicators in liaison with the Finance Department
  • Develop policy for the calculation of the network efficiency

Commercial Activity Reporting and Commercial Performance Monitoring

  • Organize the reporting activity within the different services
  • Develop new reporting
  • Train the managers, the supervisors, and the team leaders to prepare their reporting
  • Monitor the quality of the reporting
  • Prepare the monthly Customer Service Report
  • Develop operating procedures
  • Define, implement, and monitor standards performance
  • Develop action plan to meet KPI's

Management Activities

  • Implement the guidelines of the Customer Service Policy
  • Run the day to day activities of his department within Customer Service
  • Develop proactive behavior and motivate his employees
  • Develop the skills of his staff
  • Set individual and collective performance objectives
  • Manage and implement the necessary means for crisis resolution

 

Education and Experience

Experience

  • 10 + years of experience within water utilities
  • 10 + years of Customer Service management experience
  • Knowledge in accounting rules
  • Level: Master's Degree
  • Fluent in Arabic and in English

Addition to Core Competencies

  • Microsoft skills (Excel, Access, PPT)
  • Customer Information System experience
  • Team Player
  • Skills transfer and training
