Job Description

Veolia Water North America, the worldwide leader in water/wastewater treatment services, is looking for a Shift Supervisor for our Milwaukee, WI project.

 

The Shift Supervisor directs and manages the wastewater treatment operations and the energy utilization processes on a rotating shift at the Jones Island and South Shore WWRF to ensure safe continuity of operations, the execution of proper technical procedures and management policies that result in cost-effective VW contract compliance and compliance with all applicable permits and regulations.

Education and Experience

Candidates must possess the following:

·        High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

·        Associate or Bachelor’s degree in wastewater, environmental sciences or related field preferred. 

·        WDNR Grade 4 certification and license preferred. Completion of certification required within three years in this position.

·         Five years of applicable work experience.

·         Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws pertaining to a wastewater treatment facility with a WPDES permit.

·         Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.

·         Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
