Veolia Water North America, the worldwide leader in water/wastewater treatment services, is looking for an Operations Manager for our Wilmington, DE project.
This position is responsible for managing the operational personnel in a large wastewater facility. He or she ensures effective reliable plant performance and compliance with permit standards. The Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the operation of all facilities on all shifts. The position will require periodic assignment as On-Call Manager to handle off-hour emergencies.
Education and Experience
Candidates must posses a Delaware Level IV Operator License or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire. Must have at least a BS in engineering or related field (i.e. environmental science); and have at least 7 years experience working in a large (> 30 MGD) wastewater treatment facility. Candidate must also have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
